Our lives changed with the arrival of our firstborn Nicole 4 years back. 2 years ago, Natalie inspired me to start blogging for more sweet memories of the gals' growing up. And on 18 Oct 2008, we were blessed with our latest addition to the Chan Family, Nevan!
A's been downloading the sample MTVs created for Samsung TVs cos we noticed Nevan loves these Korean MTVs..fascinated by the pretty Korean girls? Started with Nobody and now there's a few which I don't know who they are, but Nevan's sure enjoying watching them and learning a few moves. I was trying very hard to stifle my laughter watching him dance.. really so cute!
As usual, hits like this takes a little while to reach Mrs Chan - lost in her world of kids and cakes and pineapple tarts haha. Downloaded this as alternative to the Joey Yung Shaker Fries ad for the kids dancing bouncing pleasure. Very cute song and actions I must say and now the kids are hooked. They can press repeat repeat repeat till the cows come home and yet able to laugh in delight at the guy who's stuck in the toilet everytime. This is my new earworm- the ones that just pop into your head in between thoughts and play and replay. Doesn't help that they are playing this EVERYWHERE to the kids' delight.
We were at Courts and Nevan gleefully pointed to the 42inch screen and grinned before breaking into his headbanging routine. We must have overdosed him cos when I was brushing his teeth earlier, the earworm burst into my head and I sang cheekily to him "nobody nobody like u" and he paused, looked at me and sang the same back to me! My 14 month old singing Nobody! Jenny must have heard too and dashed into the toilet to verify haha.. I think it would have been a great camera moment to see the young kid staring at these 2 ladies gushing excitedly "Did u hear that!?"
Nat is trying to master the "point clap clap point clap" and Nic is trying to master... well.. the entire song. Let's see if we'll have part 2 of this of all the kids and their individual achievements soon.
This is the kids' favourite bouncing song by Joey Yung - Mac Shaker Fries ad in HK. Nevan would go to the tv, point at it and turn a few rounds to indicate that he wants me to turn it on. Turn this on 1 hour before bedtime for them to exhaust their last ounce of energy before they settle for bedtime reading and sleep! : )
